Beautiful morning view of the Ganga River from my balcony in Rishikesh. Coming from the warm humidity in the south to the cold Himalayas is an adjustment. I’m bundled up and drinking hot tea throughout the day to stay warm.
My friend suggested an electric hot water bottle which is just what I need to keep me warm at night.

Ramana spent his time in many caves on Arunachala

Ramana spent his time in many caves on Arunachala including this one. I visited some of these caves today including this Mango Tree Cave which Ramana found cooler in the summer month.
I meditated in there for some time. It is quite small and tightly fit 3 people. The energy in the caves is so powerful and dense. You can feel the energy of Ramana as if he is sitting in there with you.
Mango trees are special to me as I was conceived under one in Fiji.

When travelling in India you’re never alone. It’s easy to meet people to share a moment, a few days together or make a good friend. I met Maya Devi at Amma’s program and we’ve been meeting daily ever since. We both are practicing living in the present moment and allowing the divine to guide us. During the day we weave in and out of each other’s lives. Here we are enjoying a cup of chai at the famous Ramana Chai stall across from the Ramana Maharishi ashram.
